Can Farad capacitors replace traditional chemical batteries?

In recent years, there has been an endless stream of technological advancements in the field of new energy skills. When the industry's perspective is still on the lithium battery technology driven by Tesla and other companies, a kind of black technology product that many industry analysts think will open a market of 100 billion - super capacitor, has entered the channel of rapid development .


Supercapacitors do not have dielectrics like ceramic capacitors and electrolytic capacitors. Instead, they use the state of an electrical double layer (electric double layer) formed at the interface of a solid (electrode) and a liquid (electrolyte) instead of the dielectric. High current discharge capacity, high energy conversion efficiency, small process loss, high current energy cycle efficiency ≥90%;

The structure of supercapacitor is composed of porous electrode material with high specific surface area, current collector, porous battery separator and electrolyte. The electrode material and the current collector should be closely connected to reduce the contact resistance;


Good ultra-low temperature characteristics, wide temperature range -40℃~+70℃; and Murata's super capacitors also have DMT series that can withstand high temperature to 85 degrees;


The supercapacitor module is easy to detect, and the remaining power can be directly read out;


Due to its large capacity, high power, long life, low cost, and environmental friendliness, supercapacitors can partially or completely replace traditional chemical batteries, and have more extensive uses than traditional chemical batteries.
