Supercapacitors are good emergency power sources due to their high power density output characteristics. For example, the blast furnace cooling water process in the steelmaking plant is not allowed to be interrupted. In the event of a power failure, the super capacitor can immediately provide a high output power to start the diesel generator set, supply power to the blast furnace and the water pump, and ensure the safe production of the blast furnace. The research and development of Farad capacitors has always been shrouded in the shadow of batteries (mainly nickel-metal hydride batteries, lithium batteries). Because the development of nickel-metal hydride batteries and lithium batteries can receive huge financial support from the government and large investors, the exchange of skills has been greatly promoted, and it is easier to focus on the world's attention. In contrast, it is difficult for supercapacitor modules to obtain strong financial support, and the progress and development of technology are greatly restricted.

The specific details of the supercapacitor structure depend on the application and use of the supercapacitor. These materials may vary slightly due to manufacturer or specific application needs. In addition, the current situation of high cost and low energy density of supercapacitor manufacturers is also in sharp contrast with lithium batteries, which makes it neglected in many fields, but is always replaced by batteries in practical applications. However, once the Farad capacitor is technically broken, it will have a great impetus for the development of the new energy industry.

In 2010 Shanghai World Expo, the 36 supercapacitor buses operating stably attracted the attention of many tourists. There are more than 50 manufacturers engaged in the research and development of large-capacity supercapacitors in my country, but less than 20 manufacturers can mass-produce and reach the practical level. From the perspective of the products of various manufacturers, the competition among core enterprises is not direct, because there is no complete repetition, and the competition is only limited to a field. In the past, several companies will still occupy the largest share of the domestic market, and the competitive advantages of each company in the segmented market will become more and more significant. In general, the market competition will not be too intense.


Based on the amazing growth of my country's consumer electronics in recent years, it is expected that my country's button-type supercapacitors are expected to maintain an average growth rate of more than 30% in a few years, while winding and large-scale supercapacitors may maintain an average growth rate of more than 50%.
